I just began courting and welcome we're so glad you can make it to our tea and talk this week we're going to be talking about four questions you can ask your child every day to help them fry images are you done Miss Winfield has graciously offered to lead us today so without further Ado Miss Winfield Winfield good morning we are going to talk about I think she already kind of gave you the subject of today which is 4 questions to ask your child every day internet Obama therapist so the first question that you can ask your child I'm have to do with the body what did you do today to move your body question is important because exercise is important for everybody and protection just like me no like in school I'm physical some type of physical activity really you're better now you were breaking up a few minutes ago on your mind the question is how to exercise your mind today and that question isn't because it talks about real life experiences and how was build your child's brain architecture breaking up it's kind of like breaks up and then kind of Auto 6 is it though no that's doing it ornamental kale okay investor question has to do with family, the question is what did you do to help out your family is today and helping out with your family or your classroom it promotes a positive work ethic can you repeat that again sorry I said and we're helping out with your family is a way to promote positive work ethic self of Independence located daddy time in Indonesia and the last question is what was the most fun thing you did today and this question is important because you can learn with your child like so you can continue to do them and it proves your child mental health and their physical activity because if there is going to be something that they're going to want it beautiful isn't it especially if it's okay by you. and the benefits of asking your child these for question is one and get your kids you're breaking up a little bit I'm saving you saw the thing is it sets a clear expectation from the parent so it shows that they are expecting you to get something out of school day the child magdaleno's like okay you're expecting me to get something out of my school and my learning okay bus schedule and lastly is a daily reminder that you care about your kids just by having a simple conversation of asking about how your day went learn today how school is just a daily reminder to let your child knows I hate I actually care about what it is and what you need address and location and that's all that I had those out my talking point but I'm open for questions, anybody want to add anything what do presentation and I just want to add as far as have you moved your body today Misty is sending out some great dojos every week with links to YouTube videos for fun activities for the kids to do to get a moving and Beyond dog food for Dojo education maravillosas you would want to add something else Una pregunta message for chocolate cake Miss why you had a really good point in the last meeting about what you ask your son at the end of the day you want to share that at the end of the day I try to remember to ask Michael something I did that he likes because it reminds me to like even though we're kind of like stuck in the house all the time together it reminds me to be intentional actions to show how much he means to me and how much I love him and and just to continue building that relationship that we hoped thank you it was mentioned to in the end the last meeting it's not just what are you doing but how are you feeling checking in with each other both both with our students and with our cell how are the ceiling how are these emotions in and if your child can't really identify those emotions last week this Winfield shared the movie Inside Out and it's a great opportunity to talk to your kids about some different emotions they might be experiencing that they can Express how are things going with you Miss Trinidad how is the schooling going the time how are you guys doing in Rio am I supposed to she thinks she's doing better again she's not doing every single thing that the T your post because he feels like it was overwhelming for for her student doing everything and she wasn't returning most of the work and now she seemed progress and when she asked her about you know what she's learned she it's a lot easier for her math can I think that's important we talked about that last week even kind of setting the Rhythm what works best for you for your child cuz you know your child the best and it's finding a way that you can you can do the assignments but you guys can spend time finding ways to just incorporate life into the assignments Posada De trabajo que funciona Para ustedes so I have some days to share all right well let me give you some day some upcoming stuff next week May 18th through the 22nd that will be the time to turn off turn in all the packets up to pack at 2 that have been done by your student loan movement in abdomen also be the time to pick up the third and final packet of work also next week if your child any personal belongings in the classroom your cubby anything the teacher will be bagging that up and it will be available to pick up next week when you pick up the third pack of work and then next Wednesday Archie and talk will be in the afternoon and we're going to be talking about that talk topics that we don't want to repeat and what we want to do next year can stay if you can go to our website under parents and scroll down there's a survey. take for both are TNT and for ESL services say that one more time Chambers if if you can't make it to the meeting if you go to our website and go to Paris and then go all the way go to the bottom. There's two surveys one is about the 10 top and one is for e l l services Prodigy parent centimeters Angus May 25th is Memorial Day and that's a school holiday so be sure and take that day to just rest and sleep in and enjoy yourself and think you can put in my 02 Dodge d150 white Nike jacket and May 27th is the last day of instruction will be the last day of zoo meetings the work packets in that day that is the last official instructional day for the school year turn on Citi aadvantage miles meeting and Miss White will be giving us some resources and I it's for the summer May 29th all student work you back all of it needs to be turned in by that day so teachers can begin to work on the end-of-the-year report cards and grades and then June 10th that start mailing out the report cards we have kindergarten screening July 13th through the 16th if you or you know somebody if you can share the information as a child who will be 5 on or before August 31st be sure they signed out for the kindergarten screening but if you cannot complete a Cinco para that is the preschool screening we don't have the exact dates for that yet ESO Sarah location of August 31st or know somebody who will U-Haul Kenosha and they can pick it up and drop off the preschool application forms at the primary between 8 and new on Mondays alright any other dates and the other information we Cher alright well thank you so much for making time to join us this morning thank you again miss Winfield for making time to lead us and translating and so I say adios to you next week
