Welcome Back Letter to Family Adults and Students 2023-2024

Dear Families and Students,

We are excited to welcome you back for the 2023-2024 school year at Thomasville Primary and to have students back in our classrooms filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning.  As a staff, we are committed to providing a compassionate, thoughtful, and challenging environment for all of our students. We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. We recognize that in order to be successful in school, our children need support from both the home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education.

I am excited to be starting my 2nd year as Principal of Thomasville Primary School and my 28th year working for Thomasville City Schools. During these years, I taught 3rd & 4th grade, was a Reading Specialist, a Curriculum Facilitator, an Assistant Principal at Thomasville Primary School and 5 years Principal of Liberty Drive Elementary. I believe that strong community-school relationships are essential to student success. It is essential that we work together to help our students reach their highest educational goals and potential.  As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities.
